365 Solar Energy now offers the best back up battery solution available. We install the Generac Powercell in our customer’s homes; which maximizes the return on investment for utilities that do not provide net metering.
The Powercell battery also provides back up power in the event of an outage. The battery is installed with all of Generac’s state of the art solar components. The battery’s capacity is something that can be added onto over time. We start most of our customers out with an 8.6 kWh battery. The battery can have capacity added to a maximum of 34 kWh of storage. The system has an auto-transfer switch built in. This allows you to seamlessly switch from the grid to the battery in the event of an outage.
While a battery is not always necessary, most homeowners find themselves feeling at ease knowing the power for their essentials will always be on. The battery is great for backing up things such as: a well pump, sump pump, fridge/freezer, microwave, and general lighting/receptacles.
